REVEALED KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE LOVE OF GOD

God is love and all true agape love comes from Him. Nobody, no mortal human being can love anybody with an agape love without first having a revelation of the love of God and what it is. No human being can truly love without first loving God - The creator of heavens and earth and the father of love. It is the love of God that is birthed in a person through the holy spirit that will eventually flow out to other people.

Because Jesus said that all the commandments, the law and prophets is summed up in 2 commandments as follows:

1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind and with all your soul (Matt 22:37 - 40).

2. Love your neighbour as yourself (Matt 22:40).

It is the first commandment before the second. If you want to be able to truly love your neighbour as yourself, you must first truly love God with all your heart and soul and mind. When you do this, something will happen. It will happen because God is faithful to His word. Look at what He said: "No good thing will He withhold from those who walk upright". It is also written, eyes have not seen nor hear heard, what the Lord has reserved for those who love him. One of the good things he has reserved is the fruits of the spirit, one of which is LOVE, which is the greatest.  You cannot love God until you have known Him. Until you have a revelation knowledge of his love through his written WORD. There is no amount of head knowledge of his love that you can have, if you haven't had a revelation knowledge of God and an experiential knowledge of his love and goodness, you cannot love him as he demanded. Then you cannot love anybody properly.

It is the Holy Spirit that enables us to know the love of God. The Holy Spirit, our Counsellor, Our Teacher and Comforter who himself is the 3rd person of the trinity is the one who births the fruits in us, which is love, joy, peace, self control, patience, longsuffering, gentleness, kindness, etc.

Now, if anybody attempts to love someone first before loving God, thereby placing that individual above God, there will be serious problem. This person may be your wife, husband, father, mother, children, Job, money, or anything else. Such a person knowingly or unknowingly is already sinning against God because those things have become an idol to him. Because they have become an idol that is being worshipped in the heart of this person, the commitment of this sins will ultimately carry with it judgement -The judgement of God. When sin is ripe, it brings about judgement. This is the reason why many are languishing in 'darkness'. This is the reason why many are in the captivity of Satan, and they have never been able to come into their full inheritance as the children of God.

If you are reading this article today, thank your heavenly father. Your being drawn to this website today is not an accident. It is a date with destiny. You are reading this today, so that you can be able to have the key that will enable you to possess your possessions. You are here today to obtain the key that will enable you to tap and make withdrawal from your heavenly accounts.  What you must first do is to pray this prayer.

" Father, the creator of heaven and earth, the father of love and mercy from whom all blessings flow, reveal yourself to me today. Open the eyes of my understanding to see and know you. Help me to love you as I should with all my mind and heart and soul. Search me thoroughly and expose all the idols which I have consciously or unconsciously created in my life which are competing with you being the first place in my life and help me to destroy those idols and turn my attention back to you".

If you will pray this prayer in faith, sincerely from your heart, things will start happening in your life. God will start showing you things. How does God do this? If you are a born-again Christian, the Holy Spirit will start revealing things to you.  He will not condemn you because the Holy Spirit doesn't do that.  However, He will convict you (your conscience) of sin because that is part of his earthly ministry. You see, you must be ready to listen and be obedient to Him because He might show you as the problem the things you never know are there. The things you never know are the problems. He will take you to the roots of the problem. He - the Holy Spirit can show you that Television or a Television programme has become your idol. He can show you that your wife or child, football or anything whatsoever has become your idol.  If you will repent and listen to the Holy Spirit, He will make intercession for you before the thrown of mercy. The scriptures say: "If you are obedient, you will eat the fruit of the land". You see, without obedience, you cannot come into full prosperity as God defines it.  This is how you can pray:

"Thank you, Holy Spirit, for convicting me of these sins and revealing these things to me. Oh Lord Jesus, I am deeply sorry for these things I have allowed to become an idol to me and from now onward, I repent and turn a new leaf". Father, I ask now that you wash me clean with the blood of Jesus and give me a new heart which is geared towards truly loving you. Father, teach me to truly love you". As you pray this prayer from your heart, the Holy Spirit who has been given to you to be your teacher will start teaching you things and helping you as well. Some of you reading this may have more than one idol in your heart. Some may have two, three, four or many. That is not a problem for the Holy Spirit. He knows all things and searches all things. Everything that is hidden is brought into the open and laid bare before him. He will do these things in your life. You see, my brothers and sisters, God is a good God. He is a patient and merciful God. This is his nature and character. In his mercy, He will help you to change. He will work upon your heart patiently and He will never give up on you. He will do these things gradually. Little by little, he will do one thing in your life after the other. You will be a transformed person, and you will be changed from one level of glory to another as you obey him, once he shows you something needing your attention. You see, if you don't obey him, you will be stagnated in that area. For every step of obedience to God, there is a reward. Because your step of obedience is like sowing seed, if you sow it in tears because it is something painful for you to do, you will reap the harvest with songs of joy. If you look at the scripture, you will see that God rewards obedience. Sometimes, the act of obedience involves a radical step, a radical move in a different direction and God will reward you for your radicalism.

Now, when the love of God is shed abroad your heart, that love will then flow from you to other people. It will flow out of you to your wife, your children, your neighbour, and everybody. You see, love is the greatest and it is the fulfilment of the Law. Against love, nothing can stand because the scriptures clearly tell us that love never fails. The sort of love being referred to in the scripture is the agape, unconditional love of God. We start seeing people the way God sees them. We start loving people unconditionally and our light begins to shine in the darkness of this world and because the people that sees us can discern that this is true love, they will be attracted to us. They will want to know the person we know and want to have the things we have. Sinners will be drawn to our God when they see the true light of God shinning true us because the love of God is fully active in our life. This is the type of love that gives us a burden to see the lost saved. This is the type of love that brings sinners back to God. The type of love we are talking about is not human and it is not earthly. May God our heavenly father and Lord Jesus Christ give us this sort of love. This is the sort of love that God, our father has for we lost sinners that made him to give his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die for us, to pay for our sins on the cross of Calvary. This is the type of love Jesus has for the father and for us that made him to be obedient to death. Jesus said: " no greater love is this, that a man should laid down his life for his friends".  Brethren, this is the sort of love Jesus Christ our Lord is calling us into. This is why He repeatedly admonished the disciples and of course us to love one another as he has loved us. There is no other way. The God we serve is love and is a God of love. May God help us to obey this commandment.
